Here at Gowanda Free Methodist Church, we exist to Know God and to make Him Known to other, to Grow in our knowledge and obedience, and, most importantly, to Go into the World around us with the Great News of the Gospel of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
We do this by Reaching those around us with the Gospel, Teaching them to obey all that Christ has commanded, Investing of our Time, Talent, and Treasure, and, ultimately, Producing Disciples who make Disciples who make Disciples.

Our Vision (Know, Grow, Go) and Mission (Reach, Teach, Invest, Produce) are not easy to remember phrases that could look good on a billboard or T-shirt. Our Vision and Mission help us know who we are, why we exist, and how we live in light of that identity. Everything we do, from our worship gatherings to our discipleship philosophy and approach to our missional engagement with the world around us (locally, regionally, and globally), flows from and to these foundational identity markers.

We believe that a vital part of being a Faithful and Maturing Follower of Christ (A Christian) is connecting with others in honest, consistent, and growing relationships. At GFMC, we seek to do this through Connection Groups. We have connection opportunities on Sunday Mornings after our Worship Gatherings from 10:45-11:45 am and throughout the week both on campus and throughout the Gowanda area in homes and the community.
